Eduten Ltd., provider of Finland’s AI-powered mathematics platform, announced that the Royal Government of Bhutan has begun nationwide deployment of Eduten following the release of a new UNICEF report highlighting dramatic gains in numeracy during a 10-week pilot.
The UNICEF study tracked 952 Grade 5 pupils in 32 schools and reported an 11-point jump in overall numeracy and a 4.6-point boost in arithmetic fluency for Eduten learners versus a control group – after just one weekly lesson on the platform.
Ninety-two per-cent of students said they liked learning math with Eduten, while teachers praised the system’s automated analytics for shrinking marking time and flagging pupils who needed extra help.
"Bhutanese educators proved that a little Finnish pedagogy goes a long way in the Himalayas. We’re excited to move from pilot to full roll-out and help the Ministry of Education and Skills Development give every child the numeracy superpowers they deserve.”
